Shelly Day

Shelly's nine years of banking experience began in 1993 when he began working at SunTrust Bank while, attending Augusta State University. After graduating with a BBA in finance in 1995, he entered SunTrust's Management Associate Program. Once completed, he held the positions of personal banker at the Walton Way Office and then Branch Manager of the Augusta Mall location. In 1998, he was promoted to Banking Officer and finished his career at SunTrust as a Commercial Lender.

In January 2000, Shelly left the financial industry to own and operate a local Wifesaver Restaurant franchise location. He returned to the financial industry in 2011 as a branch manager of two Regions Bank locations in North Augusta. In March of 2012, he joined HCCU as Vice President of Finance, Accounting and Operations.

Lisa Mahaffey

Lisa is Senior Vice President of Health Center Credit Union. Prior to joining HCCU in 2004, she had over 15 years of financial industry experience with SunTrust Bank in Augusta, GA and Compass Bank, formerly Central Bank, in Montgomery, AL. She held various positions and worked in numerous locations. Upon leaving SunTrust Bank, Lisa held the Branch Manager Position at the Walton Way Office.

Lisa graduated in 1991 from Troy State University in Montgomery, AL, with a Bachelor's in Resource Management and a minor in Psychology. In 2007, she graduated from the Southeast Credit Union Management held at the University of Georgia.

Lisa is currently Vice President for the Augusta Credit Union Chapter, and Past Chairman of Board for Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Middle Georgia. She is an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Stacy A. Tallent

Stacy Tallent has been with Health Center Credit Union since 1996. He served as Vice President until being named President in January 2001. Prior to joining Health Center Credit Union, Stacy helped charter a credit union at a local home health agency. He graduated from Augusta College in 1991 with a BBA in Accounting. In 1999, he graduated from the Southeast Credit Union Management School held at the University of Georgia. He graduated in 2007 with a M.B.A. from Augusta State University.

Stacy currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Credit Union League, the ASU Foundation Board of Trusties, and is a member of the Augusta Rotary Club. He previously served as the Community Campaign Chair for the ASU A-Day Campaign in 2010 & 2011, a member of the Marshall Family Y Advisory Board, a member of the GHSU Sertoma Club & the Augusta Credit Union Chapter Board.
